Gardens

The gardens are my pride and joy.  They are a place to be uplifted and hopefully a place to seek and find the light.  They are anything but perfect; however I believe that perfection is only obtained through nature and allowing the Goddess to work through you, rather than thinking any human can perform any thing close to Her perfection!

I never intended to do this commercially, nor did I think I’d be on any one’s garden tour, or nearly as involved as I am now in the garden industry.  Just putting those two words together (garden and industry) kind of gives me a chill, I don’t garden to make money, I don’t teach or consult for the money, but rather in the love of this doing, I can pay a few bills and support my obsession.  I find that I garden, for no other reason than I can’t keep my hands out of the dirt!  I wouldn’t have even called it a hobby, more like an obsession!  I was raised on fifteen acre horse farm in Illinois, where just about anything you put in the ground grew.  Course at that time, tending the gardens was a chore.  Not too much higher on my list of things to do than cleaning my room!  It wasn’t until years later that I embraced that raising, the appreciation of nature, being outside, and communing with the plant world.

Considering our climate up here, some say I’m a little nuts to do all that I do.  Those who know me know I am touched and a tad off center when it comes to the plant kingdom!

There are a number of different gardens that we work with and some that are ‘coming soon’.   Last year our vegetable garden was bountiful and our flowers were in full bloom. Click on the following links to see some photos from the past few years.  Soon we hope to have a few slide shows for you to view, along with some power point presentations.

This section, just like a garden will grow over time, so check back often.
