We’ve always had people who looked at our vegetable garden with awe and wonder.

It was never a goal to impress or boast, it just turned in to our obsession. We love the taste of fresh vegetables, and growing them seems to be the only way to accomplish this. We’ve had neighborhood kids stand around the fence line and watch with wonder when we pulled carrots out of the dirt, hosed them of and gave them a taste, they always say, “these don’t taste like the carrots my Mom tries to get me to eat!” They always want more. The little ones, who get to pick raw peas and eat them with me, begin to think they are like candy.
